Today in 1990, the first volume of Super Eurobeat has been released. I am making this post to celebrate the still running Super Eurobeat series that has been going on for 26 years now, and I would like to congratulate and thank Avex Trax & Beat Freak (and it's record labels Time, A-Beat-C, SCP, Delta, Hi-NRG Attack) for those years of awesome eurobeat music.
May the legendary genre and series never stop as volume 237 will be coming out soon!

At a short moment I wasn't sure what 26 years?...
Because on 25 November 1990 was released first Super Eurobeat by Avex Trax and I noticed, that very few people remembered about this anniversary.
Less than 2 months we celebrated 25 years and suddenly 26 years...

But it's really true, if we are telling about Beat Freak series.

26 years is a huge accomplishment for any genre. Eurobeat has gone from Italo to High Energy to it's current state of Eurobeat, but what I love about it; is that it's singer's accents and the Italo synths continue to fascinate me year after year

Crockett: Yeah I am going by the Beat Freak release dates for this anniversary as they released the very first volumes but yeah in terms of the Avex Trax releases (from Volume 9) it is still 25 years.
drnrg: I know right, 26 years of a eurobeat compilation series (almost as long as this genre even existed!) is such a huge accomplishment and I could totally agree with you as to why!
