Some of the previews are far too overcompressed to sound authentic. Maybe the MIDIs are interesting for learning but creating Italo Disco with loops without composing your own melodies? I'd rather say save your money and learn how to program sounds like that by yourself. It's not that difficult and you have much more flexibility in the end.

I'm personally not a really huge fan of construction kits, too. I'm pretty picky on sample packs, because the quality is usually 'meh'. Loops are far too limited in my opinion, and you can't just can't make your own music with it.
It's note-worthy however that something is at least out there
