Laurie - Sweet Lover

This has got to be one of my favorite songs of the italo era. I've listened to it countless times and never gotten sick of it. The interplay between the swift, syncopated backdrop synths and sugary vocal melody is absolute magic.

Excellent pick! It's hard for me to choose a favourite from the Asia catalogue but this one is definitely within my top 5.

My song of the day is Moreno - Let's Do It Again. The decision to sample "Hey Hey Guy" at the beginning is just brilliant.

Beautiful baroque/gothic intro! Sets the perfect mood for Halloween! Sort of reminds me of the Castlevania (Akumajo Dracula) video games.

Well, My favorite track has fast become "I Love You From My Soul" from Mari. EveryTime I listen to it; I get some serious Stephy Martini "Emotions" from it. The production sounds really solid and crisp and those guitars throughout the song; are the main reason for my comparison above. Surely an incredible song writing team of Gabrielli and Festari. Now I'm dying to know; what's next on the rostre?

That being said; I really need to inquire, who is playing the guitars on that song, cuz they have the same enormous power and volume; that "Emotions" had. Mari also seems to have glowing vocals in her Eurbeat future. For me; the best track on the SEB 141 compilation.
