Wow! I just heard "Looka Bombo - Go2" on episode 21 of Initial D: Fourth Stage and I was very pleased with what I heard.

Very fast, very hard... Christian and Ennio put a lot of effort into singing this, it seems.

It's gotta be the best Go2 song, yet.

^ Really? Quite a few interest me.... =D
Honestly, to me, this is one of the better track-lists so far in the 160's. (Add in some Dave Rodgers, and I'd be extatic). Yeah, yeah.... I know. I'm done.

This list to me looks as good as 161 did. 162 looked decent but didnt compare with 161 to me and imo 163 was the weakest SEB since 156

I'm completely the opposite on recent SEBs - 163 was very strong and 161 and 162 were very poor with a few great tracks sprinkled sparingly. So who knows how 164 will turn out ;-) Looks promising at least.

I'm just heard a couple of excerpts from SEB 164 - Pride by Dave and Bazookistan by Mad Cow (thanks for those Jayveemon!)

Bazookistan is just your typical Russian-themed Mad Cow track with lots of Balalaikas and mad singing. Pretty enjoyable from what I heard, but nothing really new to my ears...

Pride sounds great - a really meaty-sounding bass beat and pretty unique synth hook. Electric guitars are always present in the background, and Dave puts on an impressive performance (although his vocals in the verse sounded a bit dodgy IMO...)

Can't wait for this album now!!

Oh, and with regards to the 160s, I haven't really been disappointed with any of them so far - 161 gave me YELLOW BUTTERFLY and MAKE YOUR MOVE, 162 gave me SO FRAGILE (no, I don't watch Initial D, so this was totally new to me!) and 163 gave me CHILLY BOY, VIVA THE NIGHT and GUN BOY!! 162 probably had more fillers than others, but all 3 have been really good albums - 164 has a lot to live up to!! ;)

8) I also heard Bazookastan and Pride. I bet Pride will be the best on the cd, but I'm really looking forward to the new Mako. Hope it is Shell Fire style. I have not heard Ken Martin's China, but if it is anything like Virtual Love or Bad World than it should kick ass. That domino song sounds like an offensive word, but I know it means something proper in Japanese? Mega NRG Man never lets me down and Mark Foster should be good. Let's wait with high hopes :D
