Requests for battles

Post by uberuser » 12 Jan 2006, 05:17

I was wondering how this Super Euro Battle thing works, do the web masters here make up the battles or can us fellow EP browsers make requests on who's in the next upcomming battles?

Well actually I forgot to mention that on the frontpage~

I was planning on holding the 150s thing as a starter so people get acquinted with the system and how it works. Then my plan was that I would hold a poll here about which kind of a battle do the audience want next. It can basically be pretty much any options. The easiest ones are certain decades/albums and such.
Could also be per say 100-150, but when it'd only include 32 songs it could randomly pick songs from one decade only. Soooo probably best to have rather limited tournaments at the time.

Feedback and suggestions appreciated about this and the whole battle.

As the current battle is closing it's end I decided to move this topic to a more visible spot and throw in a few suggestions I had in mind for the future competitions:

Super Eurobeat 140s
Super Eurobeat 130s
Super Eurobeat 120s etc etc. My plan was that I would start off with the newest (150s) and go down decade by decade.

Other options:

Euromach (possibly limited to 1-9, 11-15, or full euromach)
Europanic!
Maharaja Night (again possibly a limited amount of albums)

And of course if you can think of a specific one that would be good in your opinion do throw in a suggestion. I had thought of label specific competitions but randomizing those at the moment is a tad hard, so now it's just limited to certain albums (and artists are a possibility too).

How about Eurobeat Flash? There were tons of great songs in that series - in fact, it's probably my favourite series besides SEB simply because they gave you full versions unlike Euromach...

Yeah, Eurobeat Flash is also one of my favorites. Vibration + Boom Boom Beat = win

Euromach would be nice. Plenty of SCP with HRG's less-insane music as well....

8) I just can't believe "Super Guy" is not in the final two. "Power Of Sound" is not all that good. It lacks NRG and Speed(In My Opinion)
"Play The Music" now that is a great Ace song. Hopefully is included in next battle :D ....and add some HRG Attack songs to the battle. They will kick butt

Heh totally signed this. Play The Music is still my favorite Ace song and Power Of Sound was just.. nice, not anything that special.

Well it seems that from the brief feedback so far that the next battle will either be partial Euromach or Eurobeat Flash. 1-7 Euromach maybe.

8)How about Europanic. In my opinion the series would have lasted longer if it had not turned into another nonstop compilation. ...and what was up with the legnth of the songs. 3:00 was max. Anyways if the battles do include some of thier songs in the future make sure "Man Of The Moon" Mark Foster and Chemical Boy's "King Of Fire" are on there. and as for Euromach...just make sure some HRG Attack

King Of Fire is an excellent track! I wish there had more Europanic albums too, but like you said they got too much like Euromach only with less edge...

Okay tournament started (again) had a bit of a confusion with the original 2nd tournament. Plus problems with "Jackie 'O" creating mysql errors.
Anyways the songs that the randomizer picked for the combat are pretty widely present.

Go vote Groove Twins further on in the tournament!

I'd love to see this, or at least same vocalists under their multiple pseudonyms. Or some stuff like Ace vs. Fastway songs or a Elena Gobbi vs. Alessandra Gatti battle?
