8)I have a question for you Mr. Newfield. It has not much to do with your new lable, but rather what or who is it you miss most of your past Euro labels. Obviously the ones that come to mind are TIME, FLEA and your latest departure from DELTA...and just for fun sakes, have you ever wondered working for ABeatC? or HRG Attack or is HRG attack to "out There" for your style :)

I have another question for you Mr. Newfield. I just heard the Jimmy Ray sample, Down In Tokyo. Is that the same vocalist that sang as Cyborg/Joe Tempest/Mike Danger for LED? It does sound like the vocalist too that sang as Fireman/Rocketman on the Europanic! series. Say hello to Dima for me!

questions

Jimmy Ray is new.

The thing I miss from the pass could be the working process in saifam, more musical and creative than now..maybe coz we had no Avex knocking at the door!!
Working with AbeatC? no no no no no,Idon't think so!

New field Order

Isn't it like everyone's rite of passage to work for a label, and then quit as soon as they have enough money/resources/contacts to leave?

I mean, there's gotta be a reason EVERYONE left Time. *cough*

to quit or not to quit

Post by newfield » 30 Jan 2006, 19:53

well I think it's not about money or contacts, but skill. Some people can drive a car, some just stand on the backseats. Many are afraid of doing a step forward,do not trust in their capacity, better work in studio from monday to friday 9am-6pm and no headache to carry on a label...life is full of crossroads...it's up to you,get a driving license or not.
And this in every kind of job..not only mine.

Wise words from someone with a large history ...............
Even I do have my label preferences I can understand your reasons to go 'on your own' :D This answer is just saying so much!!
Does this also say something .... 'Pressure is something which can be negative force for creatifity. Due to pressure a certain amount is desired. No time to think and have a bigger vieuw'. The amount is much more important then the new vieuw'. Less 'fresh air in a musical mind'
Going with less pressure, gives more 'fresh air'. Better creatifity, better envoirment to work in. Good envoirment in a team is required to create. Creations are made by the mind which need sometimes 'fresh air'.
Again, I do understand and also the 'order'. I know this new step will find it's way to the real fans.

Ronald.

P.s: the party in may of 'Dutchy M' , are you gonna be there?

The only thing I do know is that it's in the beginning of May. It's gonna be the 20th birthday of the IVENTI. So I'll quess lots of musical friends of Marcello are coming. Marcello told me that he found a club for this party, perhaps in the area of Mantova (coz he was at D.R). I did ask him for more info. I know lots of people around Europe are gonna go, but they need the exact date and location! Somethings have to arranged (days off from work and tickets to fly, hotels etc).
I shall raise my voice on this forum loud when I do know more info!!
Knowing that lots of Marcello's musical friends are coming I wonder if you also would appear there. Knowing the situation you're in right now. But it would be very nice to set certain things 'aside' and put one major man in the spotlights (I do hope you understand what I mean by that). Marcel did a lot for the sound and deserves one big night of attention :D So I really hope for instance that a lot of Eurobeat teams and ofcourse there fans could show up for the party of the year(s)!
I did ask you a long time ago about perhaps a musical thank you? Can you recall that!

Ronald at work.

P.s: you did change your profile :D

party

I'll hire some bodyguards for the party.

Question: Am I the only producer talking on this forum??

....ok...talking to fans is not good enough for some big ego megalomaniac boorish producer!!

I kick asses

Talking? Yeah, I think so. I'm told that Accatino reads here once in awhile... I hear a few artists look in from time to time.

Mikaeru's a producer, though! ^_^

Would perhaps be nice to eat a mushroom pizza together with some fans (and the bodyquards) prior to the party :D

I usually take chicken and pepperoni on my pizza. And I don't imply anything by that.

Then again, if the music still sounds really energetic after a mushroom pizza, it's gotta be good.

Just good wine, very nice Italian food with musical friends (fans & creators). :D

Goodnight, see you all tomorrow!
