Woo!

Three hundred eurobeat fans have registered a membership on the E-Prime forums.

I'd say that's a whole lot.

The real question is; how many of them are regular posters? ^_^

Heh wouldn't probably have noticed that myself, but good to know the community is growing steadily :) and nice to have the forum with regular activity~

I'm graduating (hopefully) this spring and I'm pretty tied up with school and work which is causing problems with the limited free time I have left over from that and the curse of wow.

8) Yep the doc makes his regular visits. makes sure Eurobeat is alive and well. I have a huge collection of not only cds, but also 12's. I believe I'm one of the older members(36), but feel contribute just as much knowledge as all of you. I listen to Eurobeat since 19. and is allways my first music preference.I also belong to three other forums. and come up with rather intersting topic threads too. I enjoy all the views and responses that I read. ..and while not allways agree, it is still interesting we all have different views and ideas about Eurobeat. by the way if any of you would like to have a D/L of Stop Limit Line's"Every Dog Has His Day, I posted it on Bahumut Forever website. My favorite producers are scattered around from all labels.

And a fair portion of us are Canadian too. I've known Cosmic Bard for a short while...

Eurobeat should find a niche in Montreal soon (Cause Toronto isn't cool enough) x_X

And I don't exist? ;P How are things going btw? Haven't heard from you in a while.

But yeah I can count the number of people who listen to Eurobeat in Montreal on one hand, including my boyfriend and I =P I do know that there are quite a few anonymous listeners out there. Cathou was telling me how one time some guy on Ste Catherine was blasting Eurobeat from his car lol.

Densetsu : I wasn't sure if you had an account here or not. Of course I remember you guys.

Remind me to get some speakers when I get a car so I can blast some tunes.

Honestly, the best way to keep in touch with me is to use MSN... waya %&%$&$?$?$kintaro.ca ... although I won't have a killer setup for both listening and production until April, I still listen to as much as I can.

Oh yeah, Densetsu, Cosmic Bard, or anyone else : what are your best ways for ordering Eurobeat for Canadian consumption ?

Well, I'll start by saying that right away, eBay is your best choice. You can find some really great stuff from all over the world... most people will ship to Canada. I recently got SEB110 from eBay for 18 bucks total. And everyone takes Paypal, so it's all good. I've also personally ordered a few CD's from HRG at http://www.livemusicstuido.com They take paypal too and ship pretty quickly.

The SEB130 I have, I bought in a music store in an asian mall. Nearly did a triple take as I was browsing. ^_^; It was like 30$ or something, but it was worth it. I listenned to that thing over and over. :P

That's about the extent of recent purchases.

I guess the interweb really is the best place.

Story : I went to HMV, from what people have told me before, it was sheer hell, but I went anyway for a quote.

Asking in french for Super Eurobeat almost made the guy make a doubletake. When he actually found something, his response was so mind-raping...

"We only have SEB120 that we can order, and it's 75 dollars."

wtf? I'll stick to the internet to order.

I went to an HMV, once, too and all they had was 120. It's weird, I guess they picked like just one of the big releases. Of course, they didn't actually *have* 120... they just had it in their computer.

I bought SEB 120 at Amoeba here in San Francisco and it was only like $30. But since then I've never found eurobeat there...
