The Paradise Last (U.S. Eurobeat Label)

Post by aXu » 31 Jan 2006, 19:51

Shin from Bahamut Forever
We've all been hard at work on making this a dream come true... eurobeat in the states! With myself as the sound producer and three vocalists, we're attempting to bring eurobeat stateside with a new, independant label.

We're trying to go for a distinct sound, but right now you can probably consider us a combination of all the great eurobeat labels (minus thousand dollar equipment).

The site isn't up yet, but I've created a band on MySpace here so you can check out some piccies of our sex-ahy artists and a sample of our latest music (which may currently be down, but check back if it is). You can also view the catalogue of music we're currently working on.

Tell us what you think.

In my opinion this is the first time amateur eurobeat sounded like eurobeat. I truly hope that we'll hear songs with vocals soon.
Way to go Paradise Last! Keep up the good work :)

Wow, this is some good stuff. It's really impressive. Now all they need are talented vocalists and they better have some amazing writers... maybe a live guitarist... then they'll be on their way.

And boo to DiskoWarp bashing. :P

Ha ha, this is great! That would be so awesome if Shin worked something out with Newfield.

I'm glad that people have taken a notice to the label and the music, and that we have some good reviews about what we're working on. It really made my day. :D

We're up for any type of collabarations, and we're currently working on getting the vocals hammered out for the final releases of our first three tracks. Looks like we have some expectations to live up to, eh? We'll try to make the eurobeat community proud!

You can add us on MySpace here: http://www.myspace.com/theparadiselast. We're still working on the website, but that should be up within the next week, as well as full bios for our members. Drop us a line at theparadiselast@bahamutforever.net if you have any questions or anything. ^_^

shinraikan : You do realize you guys will become the most popular thing on the internet for North American Eurobeat (save maybe forum discussions... as of which, planning to have the official forum as a sub here, on BF or where ?)

I can't wait to see more coming out of you guys.

Yeah, Shin, you should make a whole category over at BF for The Paradise Last instead of just one topic. This seems like it's going to become really huge. Hey, this is also going to bring a lot more people to BF :]

We're working on the website for the label still which'll have artist info, media, etc. as well as a forum on Bahamut Forever for easier access to feedback to the music. I think that the more feedback we have for our work, the better we can be.

And here's a link to the sampler for anyone who wants to listen: http://www.bahamutforever.net/shin/musi ... ampler.mp3. ^^
