You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p
Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but I need some information about Mister Max for the artist database I'm working on.
It's because discogs.com says that Mister Max is Roberto Gabrielli, not Osvaldo Pizzoli.
On the other hand, I have never seen any mention of Roberto Gabrieli singing, and Osvaldo Pizzoli is the lead vocalist of an Italian band called Panda.
Apart from Mister Max songs, the same voice can be heard on songs by Spiderboy, Spiderman, DJ Moonraker, Doctor Beat and (sometimes) Lupin.
Can someone clear this up? Thanks!

I asked Matteo Rizzi if the vocalist on Rainbow was Luca Torchiani
but he had no idea about it, so he asked Laurent, and then it was
confirmed to be Luca Torchiani.
Roberto Gabrielli's vocals are not so great (sorry, Roby ;p) that he
doesn't seem to have appeared on that many tracks. His sentimental
melodies on loads of songs produced for TIME, HRG, SAIFAM and DELTA
are superb, though.

Yeah, I think so, too.Shawaazu wrote:I believe Roberto Gabrielli sang on the first Garcon song Batman Is Bruce Wayne on Hi-NRG Attack amoung other songs...Dr Gabriel sounds like it might be him

I guess because it was originally an Akyr track, so they can't use him since he is only with Delta (?)drnrg wrote: so Luka is Dr. Gee(ODA) why not just use Mauricio ? He does ODA original?
Though Gabrielli's vocal's supposedly arn't that great, I did really enjoy Batman Is Bruce Wayne (it's in my top 10 for Hi-NRG Attack old skool

And besides Mr. Gelmetti has to save as much money as possible.
Luca is residing in Brescia, the same city as he is.
I don't know where Mr. De Jorio lives, but unless he lives in Brescia,
Mr. Gelmetti would have to pay also transportation expense in order
to get him on the vocals.
Also judging from his long-standing contribution to Eurobeat music
and experience, it's quite possible that he requires higher fee than Luca.

Wow, that means Roberto Gabrielli was also the first Francis Cooper (All The Day) and the first Cy-Ro (I Want Your Fire)!
I've also listened to Dr. Gabriel and yes, that's the same voice...
The same goes for Lupin - Lupin (no other Lupin songs though).
Thanks!
What do you think about Osvaldo Pizzoli? I have downloaded one song by his band, but his voice doesn't sound similar to anything I know... If you want, I can upload it for you to compare.
And Mark Foster on "Spiderman" is IMO Mauro Farina with a terribly modulated voice.

Those were released on their LIVE MUSIC label (in 1993). They weren't very proud of those tracks, and maybe it wasn't that much of a success either. The label was replaced by HiNRG Attack half a year later.cheeseman wrote:They aren't listed anywhere, couldn't even find any mention of them...
And yes, Gabrielli sung those as well. I still have those. They might have become collectors items by now
