No, if you asked for a hint but then gave the wrong answer, you score 0 for that hook.

Also, the rule about accepting your first answer is for my own sanity more than anything. I do keep a running tally of scores as the guesses come in so its easier if I don't have 4 or 5 PMs with changes to answers - that's a surefire way for the results to go wrong...

You can submit answers in sections if you are unsure of certain hooks, but your first answer will be one I take. You wouldn't get a second chance on a game show, right?

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy Round 2 and don't hate me too much for it!

Whew, that was definitely a lot harder than Round 1. The songs used may as well be anything.

I can't identify a single one of these.

This is your round, guys; I'll wait for my luck on round 3.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

I'm going extend the deadline for this round until Thursday since I'll be busy with other stuff tomorrow night.

Should give you all a bit more time to trawl through your music collections for those tricky ones!

ROUND 3 is a SUPER-SPEEDSHIFTER BONUS ROUND, and the final round in this game.

This time, you have one big long string of 16 hooks (8 regular and 8 backwards) but the BPMs have been shifted at random points. They may speed up - they may slow down - or they may stay at the regular speed. Again, your job is to identify the artist and song title of each hook.

Hints available:
- label name (minus 2 points)
- album name (minus 3 points)

Maximum score for each hook is once again 5 points, so with a possible total of 80 points on offer, it really is all down to the wire.

ROUND 3 IS OPEN UNTIL SUNDAY 21st JUNE 19:30 BST (UK), 14:30 EDT (NYC), 11:30 PCT (Los Angeles)

It's fiendish, but this will definitely show the elite of the synth hook indentifiers!! The very best of luck to everyone!!

INJUSTICE!!
I wrote my answers in an e-mail and you haven't added my points! I guess you haven't added because I only said.

"09 MANUEL / SUN IN THE RAIN (SEB 167) (A-Beat C)
10 MARK FOSTER / QUEEN (SEB 164) (Asia)"

But without the

1.
2.
etc

before! That's really low!
I do still have the sent mail in my PM box...

Anyway, Round 3 is fail for me (only know one, won't make a difference anyway)

I can ensure you that no injustice has been served here - your points from Round 1 totalled 13. The two answers you gave above awarded you another 10 points in total. Therefore, you now have 23 points.

Sombody call a doctor, cuz I think I'm stumped. Therer are only a handful I regularly listen to and jumped at me at once. The fact that there is no pauses inbetween riffs makes it an ear shattering experience. I think I'm screwed this TIME :!:
