drnrg wrote:Also the original guy was Mauro Farina. One song I think "Turn The Radio Up Higher" only had female vocals. I can't recall even though I got the 12'.

Maybe it was the version I heard, but I think
Lies also had female vocals only.

It's So Funny has only female vocals, too.
And perhaps I should rephrase my starting post to this topic.... Okay, hehehe. Does anybody have good pictures of Mauro Farina, then? He's kind of, uh... Grown on me. And when I say 'I wish I hadn't looked at his actual picture'....Well, even though I just brought it up again, forget I even actually said it.

I'm going to sound a bit dumb here, but anyway....
Who is Massimo Brancacci? I had that picture already, but never knew who he was. What did he do in Eurobeat (maybe Italo-Disco)?
Massimo Brancacci (real name: Massimo Maglione)

He was original Max Coveri and did vocals on some Max Coveri songs.
Also he had his own hi-nrg label, World Energy Music Production, in early '90s.
In latter days of his life he was popular as a drag queen dance character,
Billy More and had some smash hits in Europe, but unfortunately he passed away due to leukaemia last August. He was 38 years old.

On that latset pic Oreshama provided, Mauro has short hair. If you have ever seen the cover to Mark Farina "Russian" that is him on the coversleeve. He looks very much like Federicco(Franz Tornado) Rimonti with that long hair. He even has the same sun glasses! Here is the link!

Love of the Angel is a classic, catchy stomping chorus. Searching though this thread seems to be about the only mention on this board of it.

..then don't. The music is old, so old threads are to be revived.
