It's not really a band as much as Mauro Farina and backup singers

King Kong & D Jungle Girls is simply an artists name. It's not really a band. The entire thing. Mauro Farina is the vocalist that sings under that name. D. Jungle Girls is part of the name. Now however there are backup singers that sing in that song but the main and front vocalist is Mauro Farina. I know I thought the same thing with Fastway when I first heard the name. I thought it was a band since there was a male vocalist singing with a girl (Number One and Spacelove) but Fastway refers to Ennio Zanini and no one else (at least at the moment since Eurobeat has always had singers take different names but I doubt SCP would let any other vocalist take the name Dusty or Fastway).

Oh, I see... And about the pictures, there aren't actually pictures with the people in it, are there?

EDIT: Never mind; I actually looked up who Mauro Farina was, so.... Yeah, kinda wish I hadn't (thought he'd be a whole lot cuter.... Voices can be so deceiving -.-)... Unless I was looking up someone different.

Well, I think this would be one of the reasons why Italo-related artists tend to stay in hiding. Personally I don't care what they look like, though.

If I recall correctly, I have to say that Giancarlo Pasquini also produced several King Kong productions. And even did sing a lot of them. Isen't there a CD released from these productions? On the VIKTOR label, cause I have a compilation CD at home of King Kong tracks created by Giancarlo & Sandro.

Yes, you are correct. I've got the comp CDs released by TOSHIBA EMI.
I'm sure that Pasquini also did main vocal in some of the King Kong stuff like "Love Of The Angel", "Bad Man", "King Kong" and "Love & American Dollars" produced by himself for Flea label after Farina and Crivellente got out of the contract with Alabianca group.

8) If you got a pix of Dave Rodgers in early 90's than you got a pix Of KING KONG. Also the original guy was Mauro Farina. One song I think "Turn The Radio Up Higher" only had female vocals. I can't recall even though I got the 12'. :D

1.My favorite Dave (KING KONG) impression has got to be the song KING KONG
2. Remember "I'll Be Your King Kong" on HRG Attack by Bugaboo. That was a cool song or how about "King King Is Back" by Mega NRG Man. He kinda even sounds like Dave a bit. Both great songs. TIME never did a KING KONG song ,but did a jungle them song with familiar beat "In The Jungle"- Teddyboy another great song.
I also think that melody has been rehashed a couple million times in Eurobeat songs. Here is 10 of my favs
1. Boom Boom Dollars 2000 -King kong & D. jungle girls on Boom Boom Beat recs
2. Hot Dog- Mike Skanner sung by Gino Caria. C&R recs
3. Hot Love- Mike Hammer=Fernando=Time recs
4. Dirty Actions- Deniro=G. Caria=TIME recs
5. Doctor Love- Dr. Love=Fernando=DELTA recs
6. Bang bang For Your Love- Chester=G. Caria=TIME recs.
7. Kiss Me babe- Mr. Beat=G. Corrianni=FLEA recs
8. Gun Fire-Mark Farina=M. Farina=ASIA recs
9. Touch Me- Jay Gunner Live Music recs= The protoype HRG Attack lable
10. Russian- Mark Farina=M. Farina =ASIA recs

you guys got more? :)

Another song by A-Beat C is Welcome In Da Jungle by Tomas Marin under the name Derreck Simons. Whenever I listen to it, I seem to think about King Kong & D' Jungle Girls.

Adios!

My King Kong & D. Jungle Girls CD just came in today... It was imported from Japan, and I'm currently listening to Boom Boom Dollar (Red Monster Mix).

The entire CD sounds great!! I thought it was cool that the mega mix at the end has the K.O.G. G3 mix of Boom Boom Dollar, that was THE very first song I'd ever heard by this group (from a game called Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2), and of course I fell in love with it right away.
