11/25 parapara event in NYC [EUROBEAT-TECHNO-TRANCE]

Post by taQ » 18 Sep 2006, 20:16

I'm planning my second parapara event in New York City for November 25th (Saturday night, Thanksgiving weekend).
I thought this date would be ideal for people that would want to come from out of state for the weekend, especially during Thanksgiving, which is an amazing time to be in Manhatten. I do expect a much bigger turn out than last year, as I only had under a month for promotional time, and am guaranteed many more in attendance this time around.

When the time and place are confirmed (I am looking at 3 possible locations right now and will probably have one picked by the end of the week), I will be posting details, with a website coming soon. What I can say for now is:

-Genre: Eurobeat, Techno, Trance
-Special DVD present
-DISCO NRG parapara koushukai (lesson)
-Velfarre/Star Fire/9LoveJ parapara koushukai (lesson)
-various Parashows
-Parapara contest, prizes and giveaways TBA

I'm also looking for promotional help. If you would like to help with this, although I cannot offer you free entrance, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to seeing many people make the trip, and also to meet some NY tri-state area locals. Let's make this a great event, with a nice turn out so DISCO NRG can plan many more in the future. This event is a great opportunity for beginners to learn more about parapara, as well as seasoned paralists to experience a club event!

If I can get a ride and a place to stay, I'm in.

That really sounds fun, but would anyone be able to do ParaPara? If so, that would be awesome. Count me in. ;)
