Now, anyway, what do you guys think of the modern Para Para dances? I think they've declined a little bit. Super Eurobeat 170 had an accomanying DVD with a segment called "The Masters of Para Para" where they'd created some Para Para routines for some of the newer (and also some classic) songs.
And what I saw bored me. Most of the routines were boring, repetitive, unimaginative, sometimes just plainly wrong ("That move does not fit!", "That's bad synching!"), etc. The only routine I actually liked was "Chemical Love".
Also, what's up with this new practice of ret conning old routines? I noticed this with the SEB 150 DVD. It had a lot of classical routines and almost every single one of them had been changed somehow, throwing in different moves here and there.
The same thing happened with SEB 170. For one thing, "Kamikaze" has slightly different moves compared to the routine in "Gazen Para Para"-whatever (the one with the school theme). Why are they doing it? To "innovate"?
