Lee - Shibari

Post by Mikaeru » 04 Jan 2007, 17:10

Well, figure since we have a whole subforum now, might as well use new topics for new productions.

Like Lee - Shibari

It's somewhat Kiki & Fancy-like, but with male singing. So maybe more like Damon...? *shrugs* Really upbeat considering the topic material...

Taking passion, taking our romancing
One step higher, and one step further
I'll be lying, baby you'll be tying
Ebi and takate kote

Some may say I'm a bit crazy
But I feel it down in my heart
I know that I will make you hard
You'll be mine tonight

Shibari, tying me, tightly up in knots my darling
Shibari, no more free, my desire's your control now
Shibari, I can see, now I see your passion growing
Come on, come on, come on I'm almost gone
Come on, come on, come on go all night long

Shibari, tying me, when you gonna lose all your control
Shibari, kinbak'-bi, beautiful is your desire
Shirbari, nawashi, want you now my sexy artist
Come on, come on, come on tie me down strong
Come on, come on, come on make me feel wrong

Baby bind me, come on, come and wind me
Make me want it, and make me want more
Hishi-kikkou, makin' me want it so
I am here for your desire

----

Ebi = "shrimp", a type of knot
Takete Kote = a type of arm box tie
Hishi kikkou = a tie using diamond shapes
Shibari = Japanese rope bondage
Kinbaku-bi = beautiful bondage
Nawashi = rope artist

Haha at the lyrics. Eurobeat song about bondage, think the genre will have covered about every single subject at this rate.

The melody is nice, though it feels maybe a bit too similar all through the track. And maybe the effective beat is missing from the background (though who am I to critize when I've done nothing to really test out making music ;P)

Yet the track reminded me more of A-Beat C stuff than SCP for some reason. A bit of Lolitaesque touch to it.

LOL. How come you are well-informed about such difficult Japanese
words ! Even I have no idea what Takete Kote is... I wonder if you know
Gengoro Tagame.

I feel this song is an extension of the one you published last Summer, er...
I forgot the title, though. Funny.

"Japanese Man"...? And no clue who that is. This one started out intended for female vocals, but when I got close to the lyrics writing stage, a friend of mine was going on about how he's into this kind of stuff, so I figured it's be interesting topic material, and just wikipedia-ed some terms to use.

Not "Japanese Man",but "Let It Go" that I thought the vibe of the song is
similar to in the synth melody and the composition even though tone color is
quite different.

P.S. Tagame is a famous gay erotic mangaka/artist, specially in the domain
of BDSM. If you're into Yaoi thingies, you might like his works.
http://www.tagame.org/ (caution needed for mature material)
Now I figured out what Takate Kote is thanks to his site.
