One name artists

Post by Super Racing » 07 Aug 2007, 23:16

Don't you all think they are starting to go overboard with one-name artists, especially with plain names like Annie, Dave, Sara, Sarah, Daniel, Irene, Erika, Christine, etc. Each SEB seems to have new, boring one-name artists. Lack of creativity is showing :)

Maybe they are tired of us all figuring out who everyone is ;-)

Well, some of those aren't exactly new. And go back to SEB1. Vanessa, Sophie, Rose, Anika, then Antonella, Pamela and Chester from SEB2. (skipped some since they weren't really "real" names). And for Christine (and I wanna say Annie, and there's probably others other people can vouch for), those ARE their real names, so why not use them. Not everyone needs to have huge long names.

I prefer saying 'Oh, that new Christine song is soo good' of 'The new Mad Cow and the Royal Eurobeat Orchestra Of Bazookistan song is sooo good'. ;P

I don't really mind those simple names. I'd rather have them put their inspiration in songs than in aliases. (:
