The Best of Super Eurobeat 2014 Non-Stop Megamix

Post by KiraTM » 28 Oct 2014, 15:09

CDJapan
Release Date: 17th December 2014.

I think, this means that SEB 232 will come in February. So, we had four months without new songs between 229 and 231 and we will have four months without new songs again between 231 and 232. Anyway, it seems that this album is not a user-voted megamix. Because of that, I can hope that more of my favorites will come into this megamix (like in TBONSSEB 2008-2010). :) But that's just my opinion.

Oh Jesus ... The horrors of post-2010 SEB series.

Wow, 4 months to wait until the next SEB is a long time, but I think that's how it goes nowadays...
And I don't really know what songs to expect in this Mix. Well, even if it's nothing new, at least they are trying to do something.
One question: do labels nowadays release songs, singles or albums out of SEB?

Yeah, "that's how it goes nowadays" doesn't mean it's cool though. To a person who still highly anticipates each new SEB, the new format of release is nothing but pure torture, add that on to the fact that Avex doesn't really give a shit about SEB nowadays and you have a recipe for total bullshit.

They're smart though, because they know that very few of us can truly put down listening to SEB despite the way they alienate the fans nowadays. Oh well, those who are big on megamixes, have a great time!

That's what I meant with "that's how it goes nowadays". I wasn't saying it's a good thing, unfortunately :/

I hope they add some pitch to the tracks this time around. Best of 2013 would have been better had the tracks had not been kept to their original tempo. I already had the original tempos on the full lengths; I was expecting something more...party-ish with the non-stop, like with CD 1 of Best of 2009.

…and better transitions too, because, damn, latest SEB nonstops were so boring…
