Baldoni - Rosellini - Bonini

Post by Victor » 11 Jan 2005, 20:45

Hi everybody!!!!

There are a lot of songs I really like by Baldoni, Rosellini and Bonini.
However I never see them mentioned on any Eurobeat sites.
I am sure Clara sings on a lot of their numbers too.
They seem to have only made records in the late 80s and early 90s.

Does any one know anything about them?

Can anyone recommend some good songs by them?

I would love to hear!!!

All the best,

Victor

They were a big part of the Radiorama label that Mark Farina had as part of SAIFAM. They went on to their own labels Finzy & Stil Novo. They produced some great tracks with artists like Sissi'O, Mary Stella, RIki Visconti, Trisha, Baby Dolls, Italian Girls and a bunch more. Possibly, their most famous song is Finzy Kontini's "In The Name Of Love" which has been covered a few times. Go to www.iventi.net and check out their label mania section for a complete list of the Finzy & Stil Novo lables. I don't know if they have done much lately.

Hi Victor,

If you want a good song by Baldoni, Rosellini and Bonini and sang by Clara.
I suggest you to listen to:

Mara - Wonderful Time

All the best!

Is that the same Giada as the one in SEB 158?
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p

Thanks everybody!!

I must confess.

I am a Eurobeat Conservative and I think the Renaissance was the late 80s early 90s.

I am suspicious of the quality of the tracks on that CD.

Is it any Good????

But,

Thanks for your recommendations.

Actually I am already a fan of Mara - Wonderful Time.

However I get confused with Mara - Wonderful Time, Finzy Contini - In the name of love and Melanie Bell - I don't want to be like you . I sometimes cant remember which song is which.

I think Lee Anderson - Tell me baby why is another Baldoni, Rosellini and Bonini and Clara collaboration.

Did Baldoni, Rosellini and Bonini write Sissy Brown - Do it and
Oscar - Japanese Joy?

I like these numbers but have no idea who they are written by.

Been wondering about this too!

Cyber-Eurobeat? I had a chance to listen to it ... it's a rather short non-stop megamix, 40 minutes long overall.

Standing on their own, the songs overall have good production value/lyrics/vocalists, but are very "bubblegum"-ish, they sort of resemble vib/led's europanic/euromach stuff, or dancemania.

8) As to Sissy Brown - Do It, I say no. It was written by Federico Di Bonaventura (you know, Fred Ventura) - Marco Manzi (so, Giancarlo Pasquini?) - Stefano Comazzi and sung by Elena Gobbi Frattini (yes, Virginelle, Lolita).

Oscar - Japanese Joy was written by Fabrizio Baldoni - Marco Bertani - Bruno Rosellini - Massimiliano Ferrari and Elisabetta Rosa.

By the way Baldoni also scores for Laura Pausini, a world-famous Italian singer and Bonini turned out to be Nando Bonini (=Fernando Bonini, the vocalist for Mako, Nando etc... ). He is also a guitarist of Vasco Rossi Band for which Clara Moroni is doing chorus. You can listen to his nude voice here;

Would be relatively interested to hear it..and if it's like Jordan said, would prolly be right up my alley as well...

Oooh and the Sissy song... Can't ever have enough of Elena Gobbi!

8) Also check out "Bring Your Love Back" Roby on Finzy Records and "Good Times" Finzy Boys also on same label. The vocalist sounds great :D

Yes.

But was "Chatline 1234" any good?

I've bought too many rubbish Eurobeat CDs .

But some of them have one or two good numbers on them.

Sissy Brown is sung by Elena Gobbi??

Yappari!

I gave it a listen today and it sure is. I don't know why I hadn't noticed.

If Bonini is a guitarist he must play the guitar solo on " Japanese Joy".

They ( R, B and B ) also wrote "Open you eyes" by Laurie with Farina.

I'm sure this is a Clara track.

yeah Chatline 1,2,3,4 was good, it sounded similar to most songs from its time.
