"Blazing Heart" - new song for Valentine's Day

Post by Galaxian Recordings » 14 Feb 2016, 16:28

I've created a more recent instrumental and I've just decided to make it into a new single for Valentine's Day! Check it out guys, it has Mercy Angel singing in it and Craze Hellz helped me with the lyrics!

Also on bandcamp too for free!!:

I like the music alot, but i'm torn with the vocals. I can't say I liked the effects used on her voice. I wonder what she sounds like with normal? It's hard to understand lyrics with those effects.

I like the break too.

4:00. So why so short? Do you have an extended somewhere or are you following SCP's idea of an extended track. :P

Hey djnrg, thank you for the feedback. The effects I used were the Pitch Correction effect on Logic Pro (I used a bit of Vocal Transformer to help get it fixed as well), as well as echo and one of Lexicon's reverb presets. To be honest, I'm not the best vocal mixer ever but I will keep working on it so your feedback is resourceful.

I can message you the raw vocal files if you like, drnrg and I am glad the dubstep break was enjoyable! :D

And yeah, I make the tracks as three to five minute radio edits on YouTube as a strategy to promote my album and singles. My album is going to be free when it comes out soon, but it will be on bandcamp with the five to over seven minute extended versions. 8)

This song is a single track that won't be on the first album and you can find the extended here on bandcamp: https://galaxianrecordings.bandcamp.com ... art-single

I guess you could say I kinda am inspired by some of SCP's work when it comes to making my material but I mostly get the inspiration from Time, Delta and some of Odyssey's music as his style got me into the eurobeat genre. What I went for there was a slightly earlier eurobeat sound from the early 1990s, but more like 1994 for this one as it is almost as fast as regular eurobeat from the late 90s to present.

Vocals are very tricky and one of the hardest parts of making music. many people take for granted how much effort is put into vocals, especially in Eurobeat. Most if not all Eurobeat voaclists are in favct professionals who sing other genres. Once you master the vocals; I believe you are ready to give SCP a call and take your music to the next level.

That is true. Mixing vocals is a tricky process as I have only started to do so a year ago in my eurobeat career. And thank you so much for the compliments! :D
