I just got into the Super Eurobeat compilation series. I have Initial D Millenium Box (in other words, 4 Initial D D Selections and 1 nonstop megamix), but I got tired of it because the songs remind me too much of ID. Recently I picked up SEB vol. 103 and it's pretty good.
So what compilations should I get next? I'm mostly into Clara Moroni's work, specifically under her Cherry and Leslie Parrish aliases. Dave Rodgers/Mega NRG Man isn't too bad either.
Oh, and I'm new here. I apologize in advance if I made any mistakes by posting this topic.
Where to start?
Hehehe no, nothing to apologize
And yeah, the whole eurobeat picture is so vast it's kind of hard to pinpoint where to go to as we all have our favorites. I'd really recommend checking out some of the best nonstop albums out there as they'll offer a huge variety and also present many great songs. My personal nonstop favorites are SEBs 70, 80, 100, 130 and outside SEBs I'd really go for The Best Of 2000/2001.

I have a few recommendations. Super Eurobeat Volume 141 because it shows work from all the labels and Super Eurobeat 153 for the same reason and it gives you a little bit of a peek to the new stuff. VIP Mega Euro Star Non Stop Mix 3rd Stage is also a very good peek into Vibration's style, and of course, both me and Panu recommend Super Eurobeat Volume 155 (check our reviews in the forum and the main page of the site). Another nonstop CD I found to be fantastic was JGTC Special 2003 Second Round. IM me or email me sometime gs68 and I'll help you out!
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p
